Refund Policy
If you purchased a plug-in product from the Plugin Boutique online store and have yet to start downloading, activating or authorising the product within 14 days from the date of purchase, you are eligible for a full refund for any reason.
You may request a refund by following the instructions in this Help Centre Guide before the 14-day period expires. If you download, activate or authorise the product within 14 days of purchase, you waive your right to a refund unless you meet one of the exceptions below.
Beyond the 14-day purchase period, even if you have not started downloading, activating or authorising the product, refunds are typically not provided. However, where the product is faulty or not as described, customers have a right to reject the product within 30 days of purchase. In such circumstances, customers may choose either to refund or replace the product purchased and should make such a request via the Help Centre Guide.

Exceptions:
Plugin Boutique is unable to offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- At Plugin Boutique we may offer trial versions of products with the sole purpose of allowing customers to try before they buy. We strongly encourage customers to install these trial versions if they are available to ensure they will work on their system prior to purchasing.
- If the product has been registered, activated or downloading has commenced without issue, you will not be able to receive a refund under any circumstances (unless the product is proven to be faulty or not fit for use, in which case you have the right to have your product repaired or replaced). Fully functioning products where no license is required are also non-refundable.
- Plugin Boutique clearly states the relevant system requirements information on each product page. For example, symbols for Apple and Windows are shown at the top right of a product page to indicate each product’s system compatibility. Customers bear the responsibility to review and purchase the appropriate product for their intended use. If unsure, please reach out to PlugIn Boutique customer service before purchase.
- Any products purchased as part of a Bundle+ cannot be refunded individually. A refund on the full Bundle+ will be possible within 14 days of purchase if none of the products in the Bundle have been activated, authorised or downloaded.
Customers are also advised to note:
- This refund policy is subject to, and should be read in conjunction with, the Website Terms and Conditions.
- As a reseller, Plugin Boutique is required to adhere to each manufacturer’s policy on refunds. Therefore, in some cases, we will be unable to grant a refund where the manufacturer does not grant us permission to do so. Customers are advised to familiarise themselves with the relevant manufacturer’s refund policy before making a purchase via Plugin Boutique.
- At Plugin Boutique we frequently offer flash sales and other promotions which are subject to change. Purchases which were purchased before a sale/or whilst on a separate promotion may not be available for a refund in such situations.
- All refunds shall only be available via the original payment method.
- All refund requests must be received within 30 days of purchase, even if one of the above-referenced exceptions exists.
If you believe that you qualify for a refund, please submit a request to our Customer Care team and provide us with the following information:
- Your order number and your Plugin Boutique registered email address.
- A brief description of which system and DAW - and the exact version you are using (eg. OS X, Version 10.11.6/ Logic X)
- A reason for your refund request. If the issue is technical, we require a description of the problem and screenshots, if possible.
