A HATSUNE MIKU more natural and more expressive than ever can sing any kind of genre like pops, dance, rock, etc. by just typing down the lyrics and melody. Also, you can achieve a rich singing voice by using the E.V.E.C. function, breath effects and VOCALOID4 engine's Cross Synthesis and growl functions. The product also includes the next-generation vocal editor Piapro Studio and Cubase LE with hundreds of virtual instruments, enabling you to start creating music—from vocal tracks to instrumental tracks—right from the day you purchase "HATSUNE MIKU V4X."

The HATSUNE MIKU V4X voice bank has been carefully crafted from a massive amount of samples recorded from voice actress Saki Fujita, that have been analyzed and edited to provide a variety of vocal textures. E.V.E.C. function - that enables fine control of voice quality, Gender Factor, Cross Synthesis (Morphing function) and Growl functions are available, and controllable within the included Piapro Studio editor.

E.V.E.C. (Enhanced Voice Expression Control)

E.V.E.C. (Enhanced Voice Expression Control) is a newly developed function to expand the singing voice expressivity. E.V.E.C enables you to control detailed voice (vowels) expression, set release length and intensity of breath sounds, and also switch between different kinds of pronunciations. Get closer to your imagination of a dynamic VOCALOID singing voice than ever before!
Pronunciation Extension Function (Stronger Pronunciation / Softer Pronunciation)

By turning on the Strong / Soft Pronunciation function, that applies when the voice moves from consonant to vowel, you can modulate the strength of the voice. Especially the Strong Pronunciation pairs beautifully with VOCALOID4 engine's Growl function, enabling you to generate a screaming voice by switching to Strong Pronunciation and adjusting the amount of growl applied. Soft Pronunciation produces a breathy voice, and is perfect for gentle and quiet expressions.

Voice Color

This function allows you to control overall voice (vowel voice color) expression. You can choose between Strong / Soft and you can switch the voice's overtone with Pronunciation Extension Function.

Enables controlling the breath amount at the end of a word, e.g. to create a slow languorous breath at the end of a word, etc.
