Drive

Custom designed algorithm for sub-bass frequencies.

Sub-bass is the foundation of your mix, that’s why we developed a drive control tailored to not only sub-bass but the particular sound set of The Sub.

With its advanced algorithm, it allows The Sub to be heard across a wider range of audio systems, ultimately resulting in a better sounding mix.

Use it to add warmth and depth to your sound, without compromising the clarity of the lowest frequencies.

Extra Attack

Need more punch? Extra Attack helps you cut through the mix.

This is not just an envelope. Each preset comes with a custom-designed Extra Attack profile. Each one is carefully tuned to make that particular preset punch through.

Internally, Extra Attack works by applying a pitch independent attack overlay. This ensures each note punches with equal force.

Lock Controls

Using Lock Controls, you can quickly audition other sounds without changing the position of drive, glide and ADSR parameters. To use it hold down Command on Mac or Ctrl on Windows while you select another preset. This can be done using the left/right arrows, the scroll wheel or in the preset window.

Sub Cut lets you apply precise low cuts under 220Hz.

Remove unwanted sub-bass or make room when layering bass sounds.

AUTO mode analyses audio in real-time and continually adjusts the cut by following the notes of your source material.

Isolate problematic frequencies in your mix or in your studio. Click on the waveform to quickly flip between your audio and test tones while adjusting your cut.

In AUTO mode Sub Cut will analyse the incoming audio and follow the notes of your source material.
Auto mode adjusts the cutoff automatically to maximise the amount of low-frequency energy removed.
Choose from Fast, Default and Slow modes to suit your material.

Sub Bass Filters

Low Frequency Only

Sub Cut is different to general purpose EQs. The filters have been fine-tuned for 220Hz and below to provide accurate cuts that feel right to musical ears.
Choose from 3 roll-off frequencies. Each has been calibrated to produce a roll-off that is both pleasing and leaves the remaining material clean and uncoloured.
Match the key of your source material. Choose cutoffs by note (e.g. G2) and Sub Cut will only start rolling off below that note.

Beatgrader is the quickest route to lo-fi and removing high-end detail from audio.

Beatgrader is modelled on the techniques being used by beatmakers to create lo-fi, underwater and distorted low ends. We've also added saturation to that process which allows you to add more weight.

Simply select a resampling frequency button and apply saturation.

Select a resample rate to quickly remove high-end detail. Beatgrader's algorithm models off-line resampling techniques to deliver a unique lo-fi, underwater sound in real-time. Includes a saturation control to add weight.
