Stage54
A Rare & Unique Vintage Electric Piano
Stage54 is the virtual emulation of an extraordinary and hard to find 54-key electric tine piano. A true gem only a few people own.
In the late ‘70s, a 54-key variation of the famous stage electronic piano was introduced. This version focused specifically on the middle register of the piano, intended for players who were interested in achieving the best possible tone for chords and melodic passages during live performance.
Today, this is one of the rarest variations of electric tine pianos, and still features the wooden keys, felts, and action that characterised the original electric pianos of the 1970s.
This Stage54 emulation has been meticulously created using spectral modeling - allowing you access to the same sound as the original instrument in only 45 MB. Stage54 also features infinite round-robins technology and a unique daylight-based user interface that changes throughout the day.
Stage54 has been created in a collaboration between Sampleson and Plugin Boutique.
What is Sampleson's Spectral Modeling Engine?
Stage54 was made with the second generation of Sampleson's Spectral Modeling Engine. It’s capable to create realistic sounds in real-time since it's based on real samples and not the mathematical approaches of typical physical modeling techniques.
It sounds real because it is real: sound is created the same way it’s created in nature (stacking simple sinewaves together). This is why it feels organic and warm.
What is Sampleson's Infinite Round-Robins technology?
Sampling methods have used Round-Robin techniques for years (sampling more than one hit to the same note). This technique is limited because it's finite and every new sample will increase the sample size.
In contrast to this, the spectrally modeled Stage54 creates infinite small variations for the same note and velocity, emulating the real instrument in a more natural way.
Sampleson has mapped more than 64 groups of timbre components (releases, bells, key noises, main timbre, resonance, etc) and recreated them via spectral modeling, achieving a realistic and warm sound in only 45 MB with very low CPU usage.

Wursy
Synthesized Reed Electric Piano
Before samplers, before huge computers, emulations were made with old and good synthesis. Wursy is the recreation of (what we think) the best way to achieve a Reed Electric Piano via synthesis.
The result? A super-expressive electric piano. With tons of harmonics and variations over the octaves, and a NON-STATIC sound.
Wursy has a tremolo with intensity and frequency modulators and a reverb FX. And it's only 40 MB with extremely low CPU usage.
