Check out the all-new AudioThing Things Bundle, a unique collection of the much-loved 'Things' FX plugins. This complete set of effects plugins provide a quick route to creating delays, textures, reverbs and more.
Things - Bubbles
Things - Bubbles is an unusual filter bank effect plugin aimed at experimental sound design. You can use up to 10 band pass filters, represented by bubbles in the UI, with controllable resonance. Each band can have a dedicated delay with feedback. You can spread the cutoff, resonance, delay time, and delay feedback across each band to get very creative effects, from odd sounding echoes/reverbs to impossible sequences.
Features
- 10-band Filterbank
- Delay for each band
- Preset system with randomizer
- Resizable Window

Things - Texture
Granular Reverb
'Things' is going to be a series of smaller plugins covering a wide range of effects, focused on sound design and creativity.
The first in the series is Texture, an easy-to-use granular reverb with pitch shifting and mid/side mode. Texture can transform any sound into an ambient soundscape, or add that drone vibe to your tracks. This plugin was inspired by the techniques used in the soundtrack and sound design of the award-winning indie game The Swapper.
Features
- Granulator + Reverb
- Mid/Side Operation
- Granular Pitch Shifting
- Resizable Window

Things - Motor
Morphing Rotor Effect
Motor is a plugin effect that uses side-chaining to combine signals in new and interesting ways: put in any two signals and they will dance around each other like courting birds drunk on fermented cherries. Use it to gentle morph between sounds or rhythmically cut them up, affecting both volume and spatial position. Add life to the plainest signals with vibrato, or destroy them in interesting ways with extreme modulation speeds.
Where Does it Come From?
Like AudioThing's previous collaboration with Hainbach (the Soviet spy recorder turned echo, Wires), Motors takes cues from history: “The Crystal Palace” built by Dave Young for the BBC Radiophonic workshop. This one-of-a-kind tool allowed speed-dependent switching of up to sixteen audio channels. It did so in an almost steampunk fashion, by employing a big capacitor rotating on a Motor. The effects it created reached from sublime to almost granular, a major achievement at the time. You can hear it on the soundtrack to the Doctor Who episode “The Krotons” by Brian Hodgson and Delia Derbyshire.
Features
- Signal Chopper
- Tremolo, Vibrato, Panner
- Multi-wave LFO (Sine, Triangle, Ramp Up, Ramp Down, Square, Sine Up, Sine Down, Exp Up, Exp Down, S&H)
- LFO Start/Stop with Speed Control
- Resizable Window

Things - Crusher
Bit Crusher and Multimode Filter
Things - Crusher is an easy-to-use Filter and Bit Crusher effect plugin. This plugin is inspired by the effect section of AudioThing's instrument plugin Noises. Crusher features a multimode filter (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch) with 2 or 4-pole and an output gain, along with a crisp bit crusher (bits, downsample, mix) paired with a harshness control taken from AudioThing Reels.
Features
- Bit Crusher
- Multimode Filter
- Resizable Window

Things - Flip EQ
Tilting EQ
Things – Flip EQ is an easy-to-use tilt EQ plugin with mid/side mode. Turn the main knob to the right, and you get more highs and fewer lows; turn it to the left, and lows are boosted while highs are attenuated. You can choose the cutoff frequency of the EQ with the Cutoff control, or increase the gain of the EQ with the Boost button.
Things – Flip EQ can also be applied to either the mid or side of a stereo signal to further enhance the stereo depth.
Features
- Tilting EQ
- Mid/Side Operation
- Cutoff and Boost controls
- Resizable Window

Things - Voice
Things – Voice is a simple one-knob “throw it on and it sounds good” compressor for voice-over and vocals. Based on the channel strip Dials it gives you everything you need to make your voice loud yet smooth. The compressor is an unusual and complex design from a German 1950 radio broadcast instrument. If you desire to get even closer to that unit’s vintage tone, add authentically modded tube gain with the saturation button. For an authoritative bass boost Audiothing have added a rather euphonic EQ that excites just the right frequencies. This is the seventh plugin in the ongoing collaboration with Berlin musician and video personality Hainbach.
Features
- Vintage Radio Broadcast Compressor
- Tube Saturation
- Bass Boost
- Preset System with Randomizer
- Resizable Window

Things – Fold
Things – Fold is a versatile wavefolder plugin designed for both subtle and extreme dynamic saturation. Inspired by the legendary Serge Wave Multipliers, known for their classic diode-based circuit design, Fold combines wavefolding with an envelope follower, low-pass and high-pass filters, and adjustable feedback. This combination allows for a wide range of creative sound design possibilities, from gentle harmonics to crunchy distorted sounds.
Wavefolding is a type of waveshaping where the signal is folded back on itself. Instead of clipping the signal, wavefolding inverts the waveform, creating a series of peaks and valleys. It can be highly effective for adding complex harmonics to basic waveforms. Depending on the settings, wavefolding can also be used for mild saturation to subtly color a signal or pushed to extremes for intense, aggressive distortion.
Things – Fold is available for MAC, PC, and LINUX (VST, VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP, 64-bit only)
