It took almost three years for Behringer‘s homage to the techno classic Roland TR-909 to make it from the announcement via various prototypes to series production. By comparison, the TR-808 replica called RD-8, announced only a little earlier, has already been available for two years and appears in parallel to the RD-9 already in the improved second edition. We tested one of the first delivered models to see if it was worth the wait.
