Sublime Techno

When Niche Audio creates a Maschine and Ableton expansion pack, the bar we set ourselves is very high. However, with Sublime Techno we aimed to go even higher. We went for a very modern, punchy sound with classic elements, all of it sampled using hi end analogue hardware.  Then we took all those sounds and constructed expertly programmed and mixed kits intended to not only present you with the best possible mixed and programmed producer kits, but also to inspire and help you create your own masterpieces.  Lets not forget we had to make it genre specific. This was really quite a tall order but we achieved it and are delighted to bring you one of our best custom packs for Maschine and Ableton live, which we named Sublime Techno.

Without wishing to let our competition know what synths we used all we can say is we used a number of excellent analog hardware synths for over 90% of the sound content inside this pack. Only a small handful of the sounds we chose were digitally sourced. Every single sound has been carefully chosen to work with any Techno sub-genre but of course it will also work well for producers creating other genres including all forms of House music. Many top producers intentionally go for sound packs that don’t conform to their genre to help their sound stand out (yes it works). One of the most remarkable things when you listen to SublimeTechno is the fact that no drum machines, or drum samples from any other source were used.  All the drum sounds are from analog synths we sampled. Hearing is believing!

What your hearing is a sound that generally cant be easily achieved via VST plugins. Sublime Techno’s sound oozes massive amounts of character which can really help your productions stand out from the VST crowd. Check out all the demos for the proof!. For Maschine and Ableton LIve Users Sublime Techno will bring you a wealth of useable sounds including many classically familiar sounds but created with a modern edge. Punchy kicks and basses that cut through the mix as well as some serious deep subs. Hats that glide along the top range and some seriously cool sounding percussion elements to enhance your drums. The percussion elements also make for excellent melodic parts when played across the keyboard. There’s also Synth and Chord hits, Drones, and FX. All of it brand new, unique and exclusive sounds.

Everything is of course expertly programmed and mixed using the hosts softwares built in sequencer and processors allowing you to edit the midi and sculpt the sounds to your liking in minutes. You can literally transform any kit to your own creation quickly by simply editing some of the midi. Our midi patterns whilst excellent are there to inspire and give you ideas, but if you wish you can use them as they are because of course all sounds and patterns are royalty free.

Specific contents for Maschine include 10 starter projects, and 17 groups. Five of the groups consist of a bank of kicks, percussion, chords and pads, Drones and FX, and various synth one shots giving you instant access to a wealth of sounds not used in the other 12 kits..

Specific Contents for Ableton Live Include 12 starter projects, 17 drum racks, and 51 instrument/simpler racks. The live version has the exact same content but we use Instrument racks for some of the chromatic
sounds.
