If the sound needs adjusting, the four performance controls and intelligent synth engine give you deeper control to carve out more distinctive sounds.

Need a particular sound? The updated browser makes your search easier by organising presets by Instrument, Genre and Label – you can even preview audio demos from all the sounds before buying. The four performance controls can also be used while browsing to experiment with possible sonic explorations

Easy Access Engine

PLAY sounds incredible right out of the box, but that doesn’t mean the creativity stops there. Diving into the details of each instrument is made easy with PLAY’s clear and powerful synth engine. Each sample can be given extra colour by using the Time Stretch, Lo-fi, and Tilt parameters. 12 more filter types add character and movement. The delays, reverbs, chorus, and multiple distortions add grit, shimmer, and depth to any sound. The four performance controls can then be assigned to the parameters you like the most. When you land on an interesting blend, lock the parameters and effects and hear how other samples sound using the same synth programming.
