Important note: This software requires the FULL version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or above and will only run in DEMO mode when used in the FREE Kontakt Player engine.

Featuring 2, 4 and 8 drummers playing together in the same recording studio, creating a powerful rhythm circle that you can't beat by simply summing multiple drum libraries. The energy that is created when 8 drummers play together can't be simulated, this is the real thing.

Recorded at Sonoteque Studios with the best session drummers using premium drum kits with tunings matched to create the fullest possible sound.

Mixer

Drum Circle features a full mixer in which you can control the four mic positions separately:

• Kick: recorded with a dynamic mic on each kick drum.
• Snare: recorded with a dynamic mic on each snare drum.
• Overheads: recorded with pencil condensers in stereo over each drum kit
• Room: recorded with two spaced large diaphragm condenser mics in the middle of the drum circle.

With a load/purge switch for each channel, pan, volume, mute/solo, stereo width from 100% stereo to mono and output selector for mixing the different channels on your DAW.

Effects

The library features an advanced effect script that lets you insert any effect in any of the 8 available slots for each channel, including:

• High Quality EQ.
• Various types of compressors.
• Modulation: chorus, flanger, phaser.
• Distortion / Saturation / Tape
• Algorithmic and convolutional reverb with more than 40 custom impulse responses.
• Amp simulators.

This script boosts exponentially the sonic capabilities of the library, easy to use in a simple and elegant design.

Settings

From the settings page you can control basically any parameter you might ever need. Divided in four sections you can find:

• Round robin: the instrument was sampled with 6 true round robin repetitions, you can select the number you want and the rest will be purged from memory in order to reduce RAM usage.
• Velocity curve: control how the library reacts to incoming midi notes.
• Remapping: change the mapping of each articulation to the MIDI note you want. This includes MIDI-learn.
• Envelope: set the attack and decay times for each articulation independently.
